According to a mutual agreement between the Supreme People’s Procuratorate of China and Vietnam, a senior prosecutor delegation from Vietnam, which consists 10 senior prosecutors will attend a 10-days training course at the China-ASEAN Prosecutors Exchange and Training Base (hereinafter referred to as “the base”) in March 2017. The topic for the training is “Leadership Capacity Building for Senior Prosecutors”. In order to acquaint Vietnamese prosecutors with Chinese procuratorial system, improve mutual understanding and enhance friendly cooperation, national procuratorial experts organized by the base will give lectures to the trainees on the following aspects: judicial and prosecution system of China, reforms regarding judicial system and procuratorial system of China, criminal litigation system of China, corrupt crimes investigation and prevention of China. During the training, a symposium on judicial assistance between border procuratorial organs of China and its Vietnamese counterpart will be convened by the base. In addition, the delegation will attend a court trial as well as visit basic level procuratorate.
