According to a mutual agreement between the Supreme People’s Procuratorate of China and Laos, a senior prosecutors delegation from Laos, which consists 15 senior prosecutors will attend an 11-days training course at the China-ASEAN Prosecutors Exchange and Training Base (hereinafter referred to as “the base”) in June 2017.

The topics for the training are organization structure and roles of Chinese Procuratorate; China’s procuratotate’s supervision on investigation organization, court proceeding and prisons; international cooperation between China’s Procuratorates and the ASEAN counterparts and other countries (mutual legal assistance in civil and criminal matters). During the training, in order to acquaint Laotian prosecutors with Chinese procuratorial system, improve mutual understanding and enhance friendly cooperation, national procuratorial experts and professors organized by the base will give lectures and hold seminars to the trainees on the above aspects as well as visit basic level procuratorate.
