According to a mutual agreement between the Supreme People’s Procuratorate of China and the Office of the Prosecutor General of the Philippines, a senior prosecutors delegation from the Philippines, which consists 11 senior prosecutors will attend a 11-day training course at the China-ASEAN Prosecutors Exchange and Training Base in March 2018. The main contents of this training include the Guiding Principles of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and Xi Jinping’s New Ideas, New Thinking, and New Strategies on Governance, the Criminal Justice System of China, the Public Prosecution System of China, the Procuratorial System on Civil and Administrative Proceedings, etc. In order to acquaint the Philippino prosecutors with Chinese judicial and procuratorial system, enhance friendly cooperation and improve mutual understanding, procuratorial experts and professors organized by the base will give lectures and seminars to the Philippino senior prosecutors on the above aspects. Other events including attendance to a court hearing on criminal case, visit jail and the county level procuratorate will be organized.
