September 18th, 2023, the 20th China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit was upgraded for the first time to held the China-ASEAN Commercial Law Forum.
During the speech, Secretary of the Politics and Law Committee of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region He Wenhao said that Guangxi is implementing a more proactive opening-up strategy, comprehensively deepening open cooperation with ASEAN, and steadily expanding institutional openness such as rules, regulations, management and standards, this forum certainly will further deepen the RCEP regional enterprises’ compliance construction and cooperation consensus among all participates in this forum.
Vice chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Zhang Shaogang, deputy prosecutor of the Supreme People’s Procuratorate of People’s Republic of China Ge Xiaoyan, leaders of Indonesian, Lao, Myanmar, and Vietnamese prosecution organs, leaders of industry and commerce organs attended and gave a speech. President of the High People’s Court of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Huang Hailong attended; chief prosecutor of the People’s Procuratorate of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Mao Zhonghua chaired this forum.
This forum was jointly hosted by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, people’s government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, chambers of Industry and Commerce of ASEAN countries, and the theme of this forum is “Strengthening Corporate Compliance construction and cooperation under RCEP Framework”. During this forum, China-ASEAN Prosecutorial Affairs Communication Center was unveiled, establishing secretariat of the China-Vietnam Commercial Legal Cooperation Committee, Liuzhou River Snails Rice Noodle Industry International Trade Compliance Handbook，RCEP Member State Investment Compliance Guideline and other achievements are released.
