DARMAWEL ASWAR, SH., MH., Head of Legal and International Relation Bureau of the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic of Indonesia. Education: Bachelor of Law of Universitas Andalas, graduated in 1990; Master of Law of Universitas Indonesia, graduated in 2005. Important Position: Head of Program Preparation, Reporting and Assessment Division of the AGO of the Republic of Indonesia in 2005-2006; Attorney General Attache for Thailand in Bangkok in 2006-2010; Head of District Attorney’s Office of Bangko, Jambi in 2010-2013;Head of Legal Drafting and Considerations Division of the AGO of the Republic of Indonesia in 2013-2014; Legal Director at National Anti-Narcotics Agency in 2014-2017; Head of Legal and International Relation Bureau of the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic of Indonesia in October 2017 – present.

 

 

VIRGALIANO NAHAN, SH. LLM., Head Sub Division of International Organization and Agreement, Legal and International Relation Bureau (Public Prosecutor) of the Republic of Indonesia.  Educational Background: 2004 – 2006, Postgraduate student of the Master of Public and International Law in the University of Melbourne, Melbourne; 1995 – 1999, Undergraduate student in Law from Brawijaya University Malang, East Java. Work experiences: 2001 – Present, 1st December 2001, as a government employee candidate by Attorney General of Republic of Indonesia with Letter of Decision Number: KEP-I-434/C.4/05/2002 and have worked at Human Resource Department of the High Public Prosecution Office of Central Kalimantan for six months; The Administrator in Economic and Monetary of Intelligence Section with the Letter of Command Number: PRINT-45/Q.2/06/2002 on 15th June 2002; 1st May 2003, as a government employee by Attorney General of Republic of Indonesia with Letter of Decision Number: KEP-I-288/C.4/04/2003 and have been placed at the High Public Prosecution Office of Central Kalimantan since 4th April 2003; 19th September 2006, as a Public Prosecutor at the District Public Prosecutor Office of Tamiang Layang, Central Kalimantan. Mr. William Tam, SC is Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions of the Department of Justice of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China. Currently, he occupies the position of Head of the Commercial Crime Sub-Division within the Prosecutions Division. He joined the Legal Department (as it then was) in 1994 and for many years he advised on and prosecuted corporate frauds and corruption matters. He was appointed as Deputy Director in 2012 and took silk in 2015. His work portfolios include advising, amongst other law enforcement agencies, the Independent Commission Against Corruption, the Securities and Futures Commission and the Commercial Crime Bureau on criminal matters and he also prosecutes criminal appeals from time to time in the Court of Appeal and the Court of Final Appeal in Hong Kong.
